Why We Exist

The belief behind Mountain Brook

In a world where our differences are often emphasized, we believe there can still be common ground between anybody, anywhere. Our combined travel experience spanning more than 100 countries has shown us that there is always a bigger world waiting for us. When we start by engaging with what we have in common, we build more meaningful connections that ultimately help us better relate to the world around us. Whether it is literature, finance, entrepreneurship, sport, culture, or anything else, the world becomes a classroom, reminding us to keep our hearts and minds open.

How We Design Experiences

The Mountain Brook methodology

Every experience begins by listening. We work with your group to design an experience that aligns with your goals. Every experience we create is unique, even if it visits some of the same places, because no two groups are alike. We believe meaningful travel goes beyond a standard itinerary. We look for opportunities to add depth so participants derive as much value as possible from every experience. When an emerging painter from Mexico traveled with us to Canada, we helped organize an exhibition at the University of Toronto. When a gaming startup joined one of our entrepreneurship programs in Austin, we arranged a dream meeting with the co-founder of Panic Button. When a company traveled to China looking for LED suppliers, our team coordinated meetings in Guzhen, the world's leading hub for the industry. We had a student in one of our programs in New York interested in wealth management, so we helped arrange a meeting with a senior executive at Morgan Stanley. Later that week, our group watched the closing bell ring at the New York Stock Exchange live from the trading floor. Our hospitality students in the UAE got private tours of the Burj Al Arab and the Emirates Palace. And at the Canadian Space Agency in Montreal, our engineering students walked right in as an astronaut was literally videoconferencing from space. In every case, our goal is to engineer serendipity, creating opportunities that are meaningful and valuable for everyone involved. Regardless of the destination or the topic, we never limit ourselves to the itinerary. Technology plays an important role in how we work, but never at the expense of the human experience. We have thoughtfully embedded AI into our workflows where it adds value, so our team can spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time focusing on what matters most: the people who make every experience possible. Connecting people and expanding their horizons is in our DNA. All in all, this is how we work: we listen with care, and then we work with you to make it happen. We begin with one simple question: What else is possible?
